The Geographical Center Historical Society will hold its annual meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, at Prairie Village Museum.

The meeting is open to the public, and all members of the Society are encouraged to attend.

During the meeting, the board of directors will provide an overview of the past year’s activities and present plans for upcoming events and initiatives in 2025. The agenda will also include board elections for three open positions. Board members up for re-election to three-year terms are President Steve Fritel, Treasurer Steve Dockter and Jay Burkhartsmeier. Current board members include Vice President Cathy Jelsing, Secretary Kathy Blessum and Hubert Seiler.

All Society members are eligible to vote in the election. Individuals interested in serving on the board or nominating someone for consideration are invited to contact Steve Fritel at stevefritel@gmail.com.

Memberships for the 2025 season will be available for purchase during the Spring Kick-Off event on Sunday, April 27, at the Rugby Eagles Club and at Prairie Village Museum beginning Monday, May 5.
