Jake Levine, the Rugby Chamber of Commerce’s December 2024 Customer Service Award recipient, has been seen going above and beyond for his customers.
“The company is really great to work for and the residents of Rugby are amazing. They are always leaving me treats during the holiday season especially,” Levine said. He is a driver for FedEx.
Levine likes to keep a positive attitude while he is working.
“I like to pretend I am Santa’s helper working hard to get all of the presents delivered,” he said of his work during the Christmas season.
He said he has always been a hard worker who likes working at a fast pace. This can be seen from previous jobs that Levine has held.
“I was a firefighter for 13 years and the fire chief in Tennessee for six years out of that 13,” Levine said.
But after starting a family his wife wanted to settle down into a job that is a little less dangerous. This prompted them to move to North Dakota.
Jake and his wife, Laura, have five children and unfortunately, lost a baby due to the child being premature. He said this experience inspired his wife Laura to go to nursing school to become a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) nurse so she can help others who are in that situation and be able to provide comfort.
“We love to share our story to provide comfort and hope to other families that are going through what we went through,” said Jake Levine.
