The new Heart of America Hospital building in Rugby is under construction and set to open to the public in October 2024.

Laura McClintock, marketing director at the Heart of America Medical Center, said the new building will be only one floor, making it more efficient.

“We will be utilizing all of our space within the facility. It’s a lot different than the old one. It will take less time to get from one place to another and it will be up to date. It will make patient care easier and better than it was before,” said McClintock.

“It’s going to be an exciting time for Rugby. We want everyone to come by and see it,” she said.
