Rugby Car Club ends season with $2,500 in donations

The Rugby Car Club ended their season of cruises for a cause by donating $2,500 in funds they raised to local charities.
The following charities received donations: Bags of Hope for Cancer Patients: $300; Rugby Dollars for Scholars, $300; Rugby Fire Department Auxiliary, $300; Heart of America Ambulance Service, $300; Heart of America Germans from Russia, $300; Pierce County Fair, $250; Pierce County 4-H Council, $250 and the Lyric Theater, $250.
The Rugby Car Club also donated $250 to the Rugby High School Activities Department to renovate the school’s grandstand.
Earlier in the year, the Rugby Car Club donated $200 to the Tunbridge Lutheran Church Preservation Foundation. Funds for the charity had been raised at the Dwight Jelsing Memorial Car Show.
