Sheriff’s office sees busy October
Pierce County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 66 calls in October, according to a report presented by Sheriff Josh Siegler to the Pierce County Board of Commissioners at their regular meeting Nov. 2.
The number increased over September’s call total, which stood at 56.
Siegler reported in October, deputies responded to two medical calls, one fire call, five traffic collisions and seven calls to assist other law enforcement agencies. Deputies also made seven prisoner transports, nine arrests on nine warrants and issued eight citations. Additionally, deputies served 24 legal papers during the month.
