Quiet September for Pierce County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies with the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office saw a quiet September compared to summer months that had them responding to more than 50 calls.

The sheriff’s office responded to 38 total calls for service, with one medical call, five calls for traffic collisions and seven calls to assist other agencies. Deputies conducted six prisoner transports, issued seven citations and served 16 court papers. Deputies also served three warrants.

Deputies made five arrests, one for driving under the influence, one for possession of narcotic paraphernalia and three for outstanding warrants.
