Sue Sitter/PCT Members of the Panthers football team rode on a float along with a souped-up older car, revving its engine. The Panthers would go on to defeat the Westhope-Newburg-Glenburn Sioux 18-6 on their home gridiron later that evening. A float entered by Rugby High’s junior class was named best float of the parade.
