Sheriff’s office reports more than 50 calls for June
The Pierce County Sheriff’s office stayed busy in June, answering a total of 56 calls during the month, according to a statement released by Sheriff Josh Siegler.
Deputies responded to five fire calls, three traffic accidents and 13 calls to assist other agencies, according to Siegler’s report. Additionally, deputies issued eight citations, served 15 court papers and made six arrests.
The arrests included one for possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia and one for a violation of a court order. Deputies served four warrants.
Deputies also made two prisoner transports during the month.
Siegler presented his report before Pierce County commissioners at their regular meeting July 6.
