In a May 29 story about a proposed new hospital, CEO Erik Christenson was quoted to say the current facility has 45 beds in its care center. The center currently has 45 long-term care beds, 60 basic care beds at Haaland Estates and 37 beds in Haaland Manor’s assisted living facility.
Christenson said hospital officials and a steering committee are considering multiple options for long-term care at the new site as well as a remodel option presented at the meeting.
“The current plan is to wait on any remodeling for the basic care or assisted living,” Christenson said June 1 in a statement to the Tribune.
