Sheriff’s office sees 46 calls for November

The Pierce County Sheriff’s office responded to 46 calls in November, down from more than 50 in the past two months according to a report released Dec. 1.

Sheriff Josh Siegler presented his November report to the Pierce County Commissioners at their regular meeting.

Deputies made 19 arrests last month, according to the report. The arrests included seven warrants served, five made for driving under suspension and two for driving under the influence. Deputies also made one arrest for criminal trespass, one for theft of property, one for possession of drug paraphernalia and one for breaking into a vehicle.

The sheriff’s office also responded to five medical calls, one fire call, four traffic collisions and seven calls to assist other agencies. Deputies transported one prisoner, served 24 papers and issued 27 citations.

Deputies saw fewer calls in November than in September, when they responded to 59 calls, and October, when they answered 53 calls.
