HAMC honors volunteers

The Heart of America Medical Center held its annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon on April 25 at First Lutheran Church.
This year’s luncheon’s theme was “You are beautiful for you are fearfully and wonderfully made.”
Rita Graber won the Volunteer of the Year award. A hospice volunteer since 2014, Graber helps residents with Bingo, mass, rosary, and at the Haaland Home with inspirational stories.
Gale Schneibel won the award for most hours with 421, and 10,535 accumulated hours.
In the past fiscal year 128 volunteers logged over 8,050 hours for HAMC.
