Journey turns 3

This year The Journey, a local cancer support group, celebrates its third year.

The group will meet Wednesday, March 20 at 6:30 p.m. at Magnolia Wellness & Detox Spa.

Rolette school holding kindergarten pre-registration

Pre-registration for Kindergarten at Rolette Public School will be held March 15-29. Parents must call the school office at 246-3595 by Friday, March 29 to pre-register. Children enrolling must be five years old by midnight July 31.

There is also an early entrance option if a child turns five years old between Aug. 1 and Dec. 1. To be considered for the option, children must be evaluated for readiness by a team of qualified professionals. Requests for early entrance must be made immediately so the evaluation measures can be completed prior to the start of the 2019-20 school year.
