Rugby Lions Project Joy wrapped up another year of the distribution of Christmas Gifts to family’s in need in Pierce County at Dakota Farms Banquet Facility on Tuesday. This year 42 families with 133 individuals were assisted. Pierce County Social Services worked with the Rugby Lions to identify disadvantaged families in our area and the family’s Wish List Tags were strung on trees at Shopko Hometown, Fashion & Flair Outlet, and Rugby’s Hardware Hank. It was heartwarming to see the giving spirit in Pierce County and to see the gratefulness of those less fortunate. Rugby Lions want to thank the many families, individuals, church groups, school students, businesses and any other groups who made this project a huge success.
