District Court
– Dennis Marshall Martin, of Devils Lake, pleaded guilty to A misdemeanor tampering with physical evidence and B misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance-marijuana. He was ordered to complete 20 hours of community service; complete a chemical dependency evaluation and recommended treatment; and pay $350 in fees. He was sentenced to 10 days’ confinement at the Heart of America Correctional & Treatment Center on the A misdemeanor charge and 30 days’ confinement on the B misdemeanor charge-both of which were suspended-and he was placed on 360 days unsupervised probation.
The court dismissed a B misdemeanor charge against Martin of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia for marijuana use.
– The court dismissed a B misdemeanor charge of driving while license privilege is suspended against Sierra Dawn Flyinghorse (New Town).
– Haylee Marie Poitra, of Belcourt, pleaded guilty to B misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She was ordered to complete a chemical dependency evaluation and recommended treatment, and pay $250 in fees. She was placed on six months unsupervised probation.
