Museum to hold rhubarb festival, car show

Stephanie Steinke has announced that this year the Prairie Village Museum will be adding a Vintage Car Show to its Rhubarb Festival on June 24th . “Please join us with your old, antique or just souped up cars for fun at the Rhubarb Festival and Auto Show.” Steinke said. “There’s something for everyone this year, and we thought we would make it official and have a car show.” Exhibitors are encouraged to call the Museum and register their cars as soon as possible, because space is limited. Cars will be judged and a prize awarded.

The car show is running from 12 6 pm on Sunday so along with special rhubarb desserts and wine, there will be BBQ serving hamburgers, polish dogs and sausages until they are gone. Extra rhubarb pies, bread and ice cream will be available for sale also. Tasting tickets are available for $5.00 and includes six tickets. There is no limit to the amount of tickets you can purchase. Come out and eat the rhubarb.

Wolford school board election

Wolford Public School District No. 1 will hold an annual election Friday, June 22. The purpose of the election will be to elect one board member to a three-year term.

Polls will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Wolford School.
