Rugby man arrested on marijuana charges

A Rugby man is awaiting a court appearance following an arrest last week on felony drug charges.
Nicholas Anderson, 21, was arrested last Monday on a C felony charge of conspiracy to possess marijuana with intent to deliver. His arrest is part of an ongoing investigation. The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, Rugby Police Department and the N.D. Bureau of Criminal Investigation participated in the arrest.
Anderson is slated to appear in Northeast District Court on April 23.
Class C felonies are punishable by up to five years’ imprisonment, up to $10,000 in fines or both.
