JDA picks Brossart for director position
The Rugby Job Development Administration held a special board meeting on Monday, April 9 to hear the results of the April 6 interviews for the position of executive director. The JDA announced the appointment of Jessica Brossart as executive director. Her husband Dwayne has stepped down from his board position.
Four people were selected from the eight that applied for the executive director position. One candidate declined an interview and three candidates interviewed with the JDA Hiring Committee. Of the three candidates that were interviewed, one was selected by the hiring committee lead by Karin Fursather. The candidate was discussed at the Monday meeting, a motion was made by Tanner Johnson to select the candidate. The motion was seconded and an offer was extended and later accepted after a background check was completed.
The next regular meeting will be held April 26 at noon at the JDA Office. The new officers and Executive Director Jessica Brossart will have their photos taken by the press at that meeting.
