The Relay for Life Team Hope sponsored a craft show on March 24 at the Rugby Armory Hall. The turnout was good despite the winter weather that continues lingering in North Dakota.

Laurie Odden, who was coordinating the show for Relay for Life, said, “The show was a great success and we had 345 attendees, even though the weather was bad.”

Funds were raised from the $2.00 cost of admission, vendor fees and the luncheon. “Overall we took in over $2,000. Considering the cold and snow, we were about 50 people less than last year, but it was a good showing. We appreciate everybody and their support,” Odden added.

Fifty vendors came despite poor weather conditions selling items like baked goods, blankets, quilting materials, barn crafted wood items from a local artist, and good from many local craftsmen.
