Wolford School forms non-endowment fund

The Wolford Public School has partnered with the North Dakota Community Foundation (NDCF) to establish a non-endowment fund for the purpose of providing funding for educational resources for our students.

The Wolford School takes great pride in providing a quality learning environment for our students. However, like many rural schools, we have a limited budget and resources. Therefore, we are asking for your help in the form of a donation to our non-endowment fund. Further, we believe any investment in the education of our children is an investment in the future of our communities, states and nation. We all benefit from having well-educated, well trained citizens.

The fund is being managed by the North Dakota Community Foundation (NDCF), a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation under IRS code 501 (c) (3) and North Dakota state law. Donations to this fund are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of state and federal law.

If you visit the website ndcf.net/give/donate.html, you can donate online with your credit card or you can print off the donation form from the website and send a check. If you want to donate by check, please make it payable to NDCF and put “WOLFORD PUBLIC SCHOOL FUND” in the memo. As a third option, we can accept checks written out to NDCF at the school and we will forward them on for ease of donation.

If you have any questions regarding the Wolford Public School Fund or would like more information on other ways to donate, you can contact Tara Handegard at tarahandegard@gmail.com.
