JDA accepts executive director’s resignation
On Tuesday, in a special meeting of the Rugby Job Development Authority, the board accepted the resignation of Director Elizabeth Heisey – who asked to resign due to personal reasons.
The JDA held the meeting at the local JDA office in Rugby and voted to accept unanimously Heisey’s resignation. The board also discussed the existing job description for the position, and decided it was current and ready to use in advertising. It was motioned to accept the current description and to form a committee next week at the regular meeting. The motion was seconded and passed. The board agreed that they would move ahead quickly with advertising for the position in various venues, and would follow the City of Rugby hiring guidelines.
There were no other agenda items for this meeting. The regular meeting will be at noon in the JDA office December 28th.
