Kim Morgan left the Heart of America Library in Rugby for the last time, Thursday, November 30, to start the next chapter of her life in California.

Morgan is moving home to Sacramento to be near family and old friends. She was enthusiastic at her open house held on November 28 at the library. “It’s a new chapter in my life, and I will miss North Dakota and the children especially, but it’s time to start something new.” Kim passed out cake, coffee and punch; serving the community just as she had while working here.

“Kim has done a great job, especially with the children since she has been here.” said Robin Bachmeier Armstrong, who works full time at the library.

Many children came after school to say goodbye to their friend Ms. Morgan. “She likes us and was glad to have us come here after school.” said one girl.

Kim Morgan has been at the Heart of America Library for four years. The board expressed their gratitude for her service by surprising her with a gift.

“She will be missed,” said Terry Wentz, board member.
