The Rugby Jaycees annual Trunk or Treat was held in downtown Rugby on Main Street on Halloween, Tuesday, October 31 from 4:30-6 p.m.. Halloween was fun for kids, adults and even the family pet! Vehicles lined up to provide treats out of the trunk! They were decorated with ghosts and goblins and the kids loved it.
It was a cold afternoon sparkled with sun which helped with the low temps Tuesday. Lots of kids were in costumes and the excited faces tell the story. Fun was had by everyone, the only thing missing was hot apple cider!
Rugby Veterinarian Services decorated their SUV in the spirit and their dog was painted as a skeleton. He actually looked like a neon x-ray. The Gullickson kids joined in the fun.
There were witches which seemed to be a favorite this year. A hand was hanging out of an adult’s car trunk in front of Rockin’ Relics.
Daryl’s Refrigeration had a cute camouflaged theme and owner Ben Kuhnhenn said his daughter, Ryli, had just shot her first goose that day.
The director of the library, Kim Morgan, got in the spirit for her last Trunk or Treat before moving back home to Sacramento in December. She was the Cat In the Hat From Dr Seuss.
Candy and fun was had by all as another Halloween came and went, bringing revelry to Rugby.
