A Harvey man was killed in an all-terrain vehicle rollover last week in southern Pierce County.

Orlan Mertz, 82, had been driving the ATV when it overturned near the shore of Antelope Lake-located in section 30 of Hillside Township. The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, Harvey Ambulance and Harvey Rural Fire Department responded to the crash and pronounced Mertz dead at the scene.

No drugs or alcohol were observed at the scene.

The case is still under investigation by the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department.
