NuLine Insurance Services has taken over what was McClintock Insurance in Rugby.

McClintock sold to NuLine, effective November 1 of last year.

NuLine, with offices in both Harvey and Rugby, is an independent agency. Representing multiple insurance companies, NuLine works with its customers to find the best policy possible. NuLine offers products for home, renters, auto, business, life and more.

“Because of the fact that we are an independent agency, we represent so many different carriers. We give our customers multiple choices,” Agent Chad Friese said.

“Every company can give good service and good rates, but we have more options and more rates because we are an independent agency. That’s what makes us different,” Agent Michelle Weinmann said.

NuLine opened in 1966, serving its customers in Harvey for over 50 years. Dedicated to community involvement and customer satisfaction, NuLine’s staff of seven plans to show those same values at the Rugby location.

“Our company cares about the people we’re working for, and we really value community involvement,” Weinmann said. “In Harvey, we’re very involved in school activities, community activities, fundraisers. We plan to bring the same to Rugby.”

Excited to be in Rugby, Friese feels that it is a great location for NuLine. “Everyone keeps asking us, ‘Why Rugby?’ There are a lot of great things about Rugby. It’s a county seat and located on a major highway. It’s only 35 minutes away from our Harvey location, so we serve a lot of Pierce County customers already,” he said.

Licensed in both North Dakota and Minnesota, NuLine represents a large customer base.

“Our staff is one thing that makes us stand out. We go above and beyond to help our customers,” Weinmann said.

Chantel Hamilton, who previously worked for McClintock Insurance for the past seven years, is excited to be apart of the changes that NuLine is bringing.

“I’m excited for the modernizing [of the agency] and the technology,” she said. Hamilton is currently in the process of studying to take the test to get her insurance agent license.

With the move to Rugby, NuLine is currently remodeling the office to have a more modern look to match their advanced technological assets.

Myron Burgard is the general contractor for the remodel. Other services are being provided by Rugby Electric, Rugby Lumber, St. Michel Furniture, and Dave Thompson, who will be doing the flooring.

“We wanted to get local services for this project. We’re in Rugby, so we want all Rugby services,” Friese said.

In addition to the remodel, NuLine will also be extending its staff. The agency is looking for a Customer Service Representative to assist with agent duties.

“We want to encourage existing and potential customers to stop by and see the remodel,” Weinmann said.

Construction is slated to be done by the beginning of June, with an open house to be held soon after completion.
