A Michigan woman was arrested on drug charges following a vehicle fire call 12 miles east of Rugby last week.

Faith Labissoniere, 32, Saginaw, Mich., was arrested for driving under the influence with a minor-a Class A misdemeanor-and possession of drug paraphernalia.

At 2:30 a.m. March 29, Rugby Rural Fire Protection, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office and the N.D. Highway Patrol responded to a vehicle fire on U.S. Highway 2. Upon arrival at the scene, Labissoniere and a 12-year-old juvenile were outside of the vehicle, unhurt. Labissoniere said she was traveling east to visit family in Michigan.

The vehicle, a 1997 Buick, was towed away from the scene.
