Commission amends conditional use ordinance
At a special session Tuesday morning, the Board of County Commissioners voted to change an ordinance regarding conditional use permits.
Changes were made to Item G of Section 4 (agricultural district) – Article 3, which pertains to rock crushers, concrete and asphalt mix stations, or any excavation surface mining. The owner of the processed product would be responsible for obtaining a conditional use permit.
The board unanimously voted on the change after no written comments were received and no public comments were heard due to no attendance at a public hearing Tuesday morning.
