Lions Club honors long-time members

The Rugby Lions Club recently honored some of its members for longevity of membership and service. Membership chevrons were presented by club president Betty Triplett to Janet Miller for 20 years of membership, Dr. Paul Niemi for 25 years, and Dale Niewoehner for 45 years of membership in the Rugby Lions Club.

The International Association of Lions Clubs will celebrate its centennial this summer at its annual convention in Chicago. This fall, the Rugby Lions Club will observe 89 years of service to the Rugby community. The Rugby club was founded in September 1928 by the Minot Lions Club.
