Pierce County Emergency Services Manager Kelsey Siegler receives check for $3,000 and grant award letter from Safety Officer Ryan Nelson of Enbridge

Pierce County Emergency Services received a community grant of $3,000 on behalf of the City of Rugby and Pierce County, from Enbridge. The grant money will be used to update the radio communication components of the outdoor warning system in Rugby, the total cost of which is $4,750. The update will be completed in early spring, according to Pierce County Emergency Services Manager Kelsey Siegler.

Enbridge also presented 20 emergency response organizations across the state and Minnesota with retired fleet vehicles during the 63rd annual State Fire School last week in Minot. Among the recipients of the vehicle donations were the Rugby Police Department, Granville Rural Fire Protection District, Leeds Rural Fire Protection District and the Good Samaritan Hospital Association-EMS.
