Duane D. Bienek, of Warren, Minn., pleaded guilty to two counts of issuing check/draft without sufficient funds or credit a Class B misdemeanor. He was ordered to pay $222.96 in fees on the first charge, and $110.24 on the second.

Sara Marie Bender’s (Fessenden) Class B misdemeanor charges of refusing to submit to a chemical test and disorderly conduct were dismissed.

James Michael Graywater, of Fort Totten, pleaded guilty to ingesting a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia both Class A misdemeanors. He was ordered to complete a chemical dependency evaluation and recommended treatment. He was sentenced to one year’s confinement at the Heart of America Correctional & Treatment Center, first serve 90 days, with 22 days’ credit for time served; and one year unsupervised probation. A Class A misdemeanor charge of refusing to halt for Graywater was dismissed.

Amy Sue Gudmunson, of Devils Lake, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia a Class C felony; and driving while license privilege is suspended a Class B misdemeanor. She was ordered to complete a chemical dependency evaluation and recommended treatment; and pay $500 in fees. She was sentenced to one year and one day’s confinement with the Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation, with one year and one day suspended and 16 days’ credit for time served; and one year, four months and 16 days supervised probation concurrent to Benson County supervised probation.

James Joseph Pochant, of Rugby, pleaded guilty to driving/operating a vehicle under the influence of liquor/drugs a Class B misdemeanor. He was ordered to complete a chemical dependency evaluation and recommended treatment; not purchase, possess or consume alcohol or be in a licensed establishment while under probation; be subject to random drug/alcohol testing by law enforcement; and pay $1,000 in fees. He was sentenced to 30 days’ confinement at HACTC, first serve two days, with two days’ credit for time served; and 18 months unsupervised probation.

Joseph Alfred LaVallie’s (Devils Lake) Class C felony charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed.
