The next Journey Support Group meeting will be held Wednesday, November 16 at 6:30 p.m. in the W.R. Fox Auditorium at the Heart of America Medical Center.

November is National Caregivers Month. “We will be celebrating our Caregivers who have stood by us and given us their love and support throughout our Journey,” said Jody Tuchscherer, Support Group leader.

Each survivor/participant is encouraged to write a letter to his or her Caregiver and bring it to the meeting.

The featured guest will be Vicky Reile from Caring Hands Massage.

The meeting will also highlight pancreatic, lung, stomach and carcinoid cancers as part of “November Cancer Awareness.”

There will be no support group meetings during the months of December and January. Meetings will resume on Wednesday, February 15, 2017.
