Village Apartments renting homes

By Staff | Sep 30, 2016

Matt Lunde, former Pierce County Sheriff and new Manager at the Village Apartments, greeted guests on Tuesday, September 27th at their Open House in Rugby, ND.

Guests were greeted with cookies and beverages in the Village’s remodeled community center.

Guests were taken around the grounds and shown three apartment models, two one-bedroom and one two-bedroom. Each apartment also comes with a spacious living area, kitchen, bathroom and large storage closets.

Lunde has been busy remodeling the complex, adding a fresh coat of paint, new flooring and carpeting, and LED lighting.

Lunde prides himself in this remodel, making sure that the apartments and the outside grounds are ones that anyone would feel welcome and at home. “My goal is to make The Village Apartments a place where my family could live,” he said.

Renting at The Village grants residents amenities such as lawn mowing, snow removal, free parking, on premise laundry and mail service, and on-site maintenance. All utilities are included.

Lunde’s plan is to remodel one unit per week, having more apartments available for rent soon. “We’re not going cheap on anything because we want to attract more and more people,” he said. “We want everyone to have an opportunity to live here, come here and enjoy it.”

Anyone who was unable to attend the open house is welcome to call Lunde at (701) 776-2526 to schedule a private showing.

The Village Apartments now has a website where pictures of the available apartments are posted. “You can go to our website and fill out an application,” Lunde said. “You can now get approved to move-in in just hours, instead of weeks. We take rent assistance, as well as fair market rent applicants. All are welcome to apply.”
