A head-on collision between a truck and construction equipment in Benson County Wednesday resulted in charges for a Rugby man.

Sixty-eight year old Johnnie Sander was charged with reckless endangerment after his 2008 Chevy Silverado, which was heading westbound on Highway 2 just 13 miles east of Rugby, crossed into the left lane-which was blocked to traffic-and struck parked equipment.

According to a press release from the N.D. Highway Patrol, the equipment received minor damage while Sander’s vehicle was disabled. No injuries were reported.

The N.D. Highway Patrol responded to the crash.
