Sandon Stanley Erickson, of Rugby, pleaded guilty to unauthorized use of a vehicle, a class A misdemeanor; leaving the scene of an accident involving death/personal injury, a class A misdemeanor; and disobedience of a judicial order, a class B misdemeanor. He was ordered to participate in the 24/7 sobriety program; be subject to random drug and alcohol testing by law enforcement; not consume/purchase/possess alcohol or enter a licensed establishment; and pay $360 in fees. He was sentenced to seven days’ confinement at the Heart of America Correctional & Treatment Center with seven days’ credit for time served; one year confinement with the Department of Corrections with one year suspended and 111 days’ credit for time served; and one year unsupervised probation. Another misdemeanor charge, driving while license privilege is suspended, was dismissed.

Andrew Michael Hilmer, of Mobridge, S.D., pleaded guilty to theft of property, a class C felony; and hindering law enforcement, a class A misdemeanor. He was ordered to have no contact or be within 500 feet of Brandy McConkley; and seek treatment while incarcerated. He was sentenced to 28 days’ confinement at HACTC with 28 days’ credit for time served; four years’ confinement with the DOCR, first serve two years, with 28 days’ credit for time served; and two years supervised probation.

Chad Damon Bruce, of Devils Lake, pleaded guilty to theft of property, a class A misdemeanor. He was ordered to pay $1,700 in restitution-$1,000 to Shopko, $406.64 to Nodak Insurance and $293.36 to Rosemary Pfau; and to have no contact or be within 300 feet of Shopko or Pfau. He was sentenced to one year confinement with the DOCR with one year suspended and 85 days’ credit for time served, and two years unsupervised probation. Two felony charges of breaking into a vehicle and theft of property were dismissed.

Duston Louis Stillday pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, a class C felony. He was ordered to testify against co-defendant Brandon Kuhn; immediately report to Probation Officer Benjamin Zimmer for one year supervised probation; and complete a chemical dependency evaluation and recommended treatment. He was sentenced to one year’s confinement with the DOCR, first serve 63 days, with 63 days’ credit for time served.

Stillday’s other charges of possession of a controlled substance and theft of property, both class C felonies, were dismissed.

Candace Jean Bruce, of Dunseith, pleaded guilty to ingesting a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor. She was ordered to complete 25 hours of community service; complete a chemical dependency evaluation and recommended treatment; and pay $250 in fees. She was sentenced to 360 days unsupervised probation.

Andrew Craig Cortez’s (Rapid City, S.D.) charge of theft of property was dismissed. Cortez was ordered to testify against John Decoteau, Emil Decoteau and Andrew Hilmer in any upcoming proceedings in Pierce or Ward counties.

Melvin Luke Jeanotte, of Belcourt, pleaded guilty to driving while license privilege is suspended, a class B misdemeanor. He was ordered to pay $350 in fees and to not drive until license is reinstated. He was sentenced to 30 days’ confinement at HACTC, first serve 18 months, with three days’ credit for time served; and 18 months unsupervised probation.

Melissa Diane Langston’s (Rugby) charge of driving without an operator’s license was dismissed. Langston pleaded guilty to pleaded guilty to DUI with a BAC of 0.08 percent or greater, a class B misdemeanor. She was ordered to complete a chemical dependency evaluation and recommended treatment; not consume/purchase/possess alcohol or enter a licensed establishment until treatment is complete; and pay $1,000 in fees. She was sentenced to 10 days’ confinement at HACTC with seven days suspended and three days’ credit for time served; and one year unsupervised probation.

Anne Frances Rasmusson, of Devils Lake, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, a class B misdemeanor. She was ordered to complete recommended treatment; to not consume, purchase or possess alcohol nor enter a licensed establishment until treatment is complete; and pay $1,019.41 in fees. She was sentenced to 10 days’ confinement at HACTC, first serve two days; and one year unsupervised probation.

Charla Werner, of Rugby, pleaded guilty to DUI with a BAC of 0.08 percent or greater. She was ordered to complete a chemical dependency evaluation and recommended treatment; to not possess/purchase/consume until recommended treatment is complete; and pay $750 in fees. She was sentenced to 10 days confinement at HACTC with 10 days suspended; and one year unsupervised probation.

Timothy Jacob Kissiar, of Rugby, pleaded guilty to simple assault and person under 21 years of age using alcohol/entering licensed premises, both class B misdemeanor. He was ordered to complete 40 hours of community service; have no contact and not be within 500 feet of Richard Bennefield; complete a chemical dependency evaluation and recommended treatment; and pay $275 in fees. He was sentenced to 10 days’ confinement at HACTC with 10 days suspended and one day’s credit for time served; and 360 days unsupervised probation.
