Court Is Now In Session
Tammy Jean Putnam, of Glenwood, Iowa, pleaded guilty to driving while license privilege is suspended, a class B misdemeanor. She was ordered to pay $350 in fees. She was sentenced to 10 days’ confinement at the Heart of America Correctional & Treatment Center with 10 days suspended, and 6 months unsupervised probation.
Corey J. Berg, of Towner, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, a class B misdemeanor. He was ordered to pay $275 in fees, complete a chemical dependency evaluation and recommended treatment, and complete 20 hours of community service. He was sentenced to 30 days’ confinement at HACTC, first serve 4 days, and 1 year unsupervised probation.
Aaron Lee Pearson, of Laporte, Minn., pleaded guilty to driving or in actual physical control of a motor vehicle, a class B misdemeanor. He was ordered to pay $750 in fees, complete a chemical dependency evaluation and recommended treatment. He was sentenced to 30 days’ confinement at HACTC with 30 days suspended, and 18 months unsupervised probation. A second misdemeanor charge of refusing to submit to a chemical test, to which Pearson pleaded not guilty, was dismissed.
Jacob Otto Solberg’s (Rugby) charge of disobedience of a judicial order, a class A misdemeanor, was dismissed.
