Rugby man facing felony charges

A Rugby man could face life in prison on felony charges.

Jacob Solberg, 20, was arrested last week on a charge of gross sexual imposition, a class AA felony. Under state law, class AA felonies have a maximum sentence of life in prison.

According to a press release, Solberg was arrested following an investigation by the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office and the N.D. Bureau of Criminal Investigation into an allegation of an adult having a sexual relationship with a minor under 18 years of age over a period of several months.
