Fred Kasmer Schell, of Towner, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence with blood alcohol content of .08 or greater, a class B misdemeanor. He was ordered to complete recommended treatment and pay $750 in fees. He was sentenced to 10 days’ confinement at the Heart of America Correctional & Treatment Center with 10 days suspended, and one year unsupervised probation.

Clarence N. Keplin, Jr., of Belcourt, pleaded guilty to issuing a check/draft without sufficient funds or credit, a class A misdemeanor. He was ordered to pay $600 in fees, with $300 paid by April 22.

Josip Branislav Babic, of West Fargo, pleaded guilty to ingesting a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor. Fines and fees-totaling $1,225-were suspended for Babic on the condition he submits to 18 drug tests over a one year unsupervised probation period, with testing arranged through the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office. Babic would be subject to immediate arrest, as well as fines and fees if any test is refused or comes back positive. Babic also pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor. He was ordered to pay $325 in fees and was sentenced to 30 days’ confinement at HACTC with 23 days suspended and 7 days’ credit for time served.

Michael Joe Johnson, of Belcourt, pleaded guilty to driving while license is under revocation and unlawful use of license plate/tab, both class B misdemeanors. He was ordered to pay $525 in fees on the first charge, and $100 on the second. He was sentenced to 20 days’ confinement at HACTC with 20 days suspended, and one year unsupervised probation.

Dyvonne Zinck’s (of Rugby) charge of driving without liability insurance was dismissed.

Gale Decoteau, of Dunseith, pleaded guilty to issuing a check/draft without sufficient funds or credit. He was ordered to pay $155.38 in fees.

Carl G. Charette, of Belcourt, pleaded guilty to driving while license privilege is suspended. He was sentenced to 30 days’ confinement at HACTC with 23 days suspended; and 18 months unsupervised probation.

Joshua Livingood, of Minot, pleaded guilty to carrying a concealed weapon, a class A misdemeanor; and failure to transfer title, a class B misdemeanor. He was ordered to pay $325 in fees. He was sentenced to 1 year’s confinement at HACTC with 1 year suspended and 15 days’ credit for time served; and 18 months unsupervised probation.

Kelly G. Belgarde, of Rugby, pleaded guilty to ingesting a controlled substance. The court suspended $325 in fines/fees on the condition Belgarde satisfies all conditions. He was sentenced to 1 year’s confinement at HACTC, first serve 30 days and 5 days’ credit for time served; and 1 year unsupervised probation.

Nils J. Lamberson, of Rugby, pleaded guilty to violating a protection order, a class A misdemeanor. He was ordered to complete anger management and pay $325 in fees. He was sentenced to 2 years probation; and 30 days’ confinement at HACTC with 30 days suspended and 12 days’ credit for time served.

Rebecca Lee Meager, of Bismarck, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol. She was ordered to pay $750 in fees. She was sentenced to 30 days’ confinement at HACTC with 25 days suspended and 5 days’ credit for time served; and 18 months unsupervised probation.

Crystal Velvet Grove, of Rugby, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol. She was ordered to complete treatment, and while at treatment she did not have to comply with the 24/7 sobriety program, and she will be given credit for days in inpatient treatment; and pay $1,725 in fees. She was sentenced to 30 days’ confinement at HACTC with 30 days suspended and 16 days’ credit for time served; and 2 years’ unsupervised probation.

Byron John Mygland, of Pembina, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol. He was ordered to pay $775 in fees and complete 20 hours of community service in lieu of jail time. He was sentenced to 1 year unsupervised probation.
