Positions Change at Rugby Gooseneck
With the completion of a new Gooseneck Store in Rugby coming this spring, the service department in Rugby is changing more than just their location.
Effective January 18th, David Bednarz, Gooseneck Rugby’s current Service Manager, will transition into a customer service representative role. Bednarz has worked in Rugby for 44 years, with 30 of those years as a service manager. Bednarz expressed an interest in moving into a different role, and Gooseneck was happy to have him stay on and help train the two new service managers.
Shane Fosness and Chuck Longie will move into a dual service manager role for the Rugby shop. Fosness has worked as a service technician in Rugby since 1999. He is a great technical resource in the shop and often acts as the go-to in Bednarz’s absence.
Longie will also fill the service manager position well. Longie started as a set-up technician for Gooseneck in 2008. In the last several years, he has served as the set-up shop foreman, handling the scheduling and employees in that shop.
As Gooseneck prepares for the upcoming move to the new Rugby store, the company feels these changes position them well to handle the consolidation of the shops, as well as prepare for future growth.
