New Fire Chief

Will Griffin is the Rugby’s new fire chief. He was elected to the position at the department’s annual meeting which was held last week. Griffin has been on the Rugby Volunteer Fire Dept for over 10 years and served on the Rolette Fire Dept 10 years prior. He takes over for David Schneibel, Jr. who stepped down after a tie vote at the annual meeting. Schneibel served as chief for three years.

Griffin hauls fuel for Central Transport. He lives in Rugby with his wife, Nancy, and two kids, Ashley and Samuel.

Danny Raymond was elected assistant fire chief, and Kelly Bonn continues as the secretary-treasurer.
