Haystack Murder Mystery – Epilogue

By Staff | Nov 20, 2015

Though there have been no recent leads in the 1915 Murder Mystery – with the phones remaining eerily quiet with no new evidence or suspicions- there has been a recent development in this case.

A modest grave marker was recently set at the burial site of the two men that were the impetus for our Haystack Murder Mystery. The marker was funded by Galen J. Mack, Robert Wilmot, Rob St. Michel, James Hoffert, John C. McClintock, Jr., and Dale G. Niewoehner.

The only marking prior to this marker were words written in the concrete at the head of the grave. It was the intent of these extremely generous and caring gentlemen that even though these two men lay beneath the ground, murdered and without fanfare or identity, that this marker will honor their time on this earth and show them that whoever they may be they have not been forgotten by the good people of Rugby.
