Court is Now in Session

Kevin Douglas Valley, of Bemidji, Minn., pleaded guilty to being afield with a gun/other firearm or bow and arrow while intoxicated, a class B misdemeanor; and unlawful taking of big game animal, a class A misdemeanor. He was ordered to pay $550 in fees and was also ordered to turn over his hunting license to the Court for revocation and mailing to the Game & Fish Department pursuant to chapter 20.1-01-06 of the N.D. Century Code.

Gary Lee Wendel, of Bottineau, pleaded guilty to driving while license privilege is suspended, a class B misdemeanor. He was ordered to pay $225 in fees and was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and four days imprisonment via electronic home monitoring at his expense.

Andrew John Charboneau, of Belcourt, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), both class B misdemeanors. He was ordered to pay $275 in fees and was sentenced to 25 hours community service and one year unsupervised probation. Charboneau also pleaded not guilty to ingesting a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor. That charge was dismissed.

Charles Dean Marcellais, Jr., of Belcourt, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was ordered to pay $275 in fees and was sentenced to 25 hours community service and one year unsupervised probation. Marcellais also pleaded not guilty to ingesting a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor. That charge was dismissed.
