First International Bank and Trust Comes To Rugby

The First International Bank & Trust (FIB&T) is opening of a new location in Rugby, ND. The temporary building is scheduled to open in mid-November, and will be located at 215 Highway 2 SW.

Tanner Johnson has been named President of the Rugby branch, which will be FIB&T’s 26th location across North Dakota, Minnesota and Arizona.

According to Christina Graalum, Marketing Coordinator, “First International Bank & Trust offers a wide array of service offerings and experienced professionals that provide personal attention to help customers find the right solution for any financial situation. FIB&T offers personal and business banking, trust, insurance and mortgage services.”

First International Bank & Trust is owned by Watford City Bancshares, Inc., which is owned by the Stenehjem family out of North Dakota.

Tanner Johnson who is from Rugby shared, ” I am looking forward to opening the Rugby branch of FIB&T. I think it will be a great addition for Rugby and the community.” He continued, “Having a North Dakota family owned bank and being able to spend time with them has really energized me for the possibilities that FIB&T can bring to not only our customers but the community as a whole.” He concluded, “We should be open if all goes right November 16th in our temporary home, but I think the community will be excited what will eventually be built.”
