Court Is Now In Session
TUESDAY, SEPT. 1
A pre-trial conference and motions hearing was held for Tanner Edward Lunde, Rugby, who was charged with person under 21 manufacture/buy/possess/consume, a class B misdemeanor, and escape and fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, both class A misdemeanors. A sentencing hearing has been scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 15.
Kelly G. Belgarde, Rugby, made an initial appearance of a charge of theft of property, a class C felony.
Adam Robert Danskin, of Souris, made an initial appearance on a charge of driving while license/privilege is suspended or revoked, a class B misdemeanor.
Kyle Joseph Fossen, of Maddock, made a third appearance on class A misdemeanor charges of unlawful delivery to certain persons, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance, marijuana.
Corey Olson, of Bottineau, made an initial appearance on a charge of issuing a check/draft without sufficient funds or credit, a class B misdemeanor.
Kelsi Ranae Phelps made a second appearance on a charge of physical obstruction of a government function, a class A misdemeanor.
Joni Lynn Tillich, of Belcourt, made a second appearance on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol, a class B misdemeanor.
Gary Lee Wendel, of Bottineau, made an initial appearance on a charge of driving while license privilege is suspended, a class B misdemeanor.
Jack Lee Wolfe, Jr., of Grand Forks, pleaded not guilty to driving while license/privilege is suspended or revoked. The charges were dismissed and an order to dismiss/vacate was issued, canceling Wolfe’s initial appearance.
LAST WEEK
Levi Colton Pollman, Dunseith, pleaded not guilty to charges of failure to provide a child restraint device and failure to wear seat belt. Both charges were dismissed.
Russell Axel Nielsen, of Rugby, pleaded guilty to menacing, a class A misdemeanor. He was sentenced to no contact with the victim, Gregg Salazar; one year unsupervised probation and $350 in fees. Nielsen also pleaded not guilty to assault, a class A misdemeanor. That charge was dismissed.
