Two Arrested at Oakwood Inn
The Rugby Police Department arrested two men last week at Oakwood Inn in Rugby on a probation compliance check.
Duane R. Blake, Towner, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia, both class C felonies. Sheldon R. Beeter, Minot, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, a class C felony.
The men were living at Oakwood Inn, and had multiple past offenses of possession of meth paraphernalia, according to a Rugby Police Department press release.
Two Arrested at Traffic Stop
Two Oakwood Inn residents were arrested last week following a Rugby Police Department traffic stop.
According to a Rugby Police Department press release, the suspects were in a suspicious parked vehicle, which had been reported stolen from Benson County.
Steven Lee Parizek, of Minot, was arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle, a class A felony. His passenger, Juliana Beeter, of Upham, was arrested for violating probation. She had previously been sentenced to two years supervised probation for possession of a controlled substance, a class B misdemeanor; and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, one a class A misdemeanor and the other a class C felony.
