Rugby Jaycees Adopt-A-Highway ditch cleanup night was a night well spent. On April 29th along Highway 2 through town the Jaycees partnered with the Lutheran Youth Organization (LYO) to clean up debris discarded in ditches and on the street.

This isn’t the first worthwhile event where the LYO partnered with the Jaycees. They recently assisted the Jaycees with the Easter Egg Hunt, held on the grounds of the Prairie Village Museum. As a result for their hard work and dedication to the well-being of Rugby, the Jaycees have donated $1000 to the Lutheran Youth Organization to help 11 members of LYO travel to Detroit in July for a National Youth Gathering. The donation is made possible through net proceeds from Jaycees gaming operations at I.C. Dubbles and 3rd St Station.
