Concert Choir to stop in Rugby

On its tour throughout the state, the NDSU Concert Choir will make a stop in Rugby to perform at First Lutheran Church Sunday, March 15 at 2 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public.

Under the direction of Dr. Jo Ann Miller, the choir will perform music of Purcell, Brahms, Britten, Whitacre, Fissinger and more. Two world premieres will also be featured: “The isle is full of noises”, by Paul Ayres – 2014 Fissinger Choral Composition winner – and “Sofou unga astin min (Icelandic Lullaby)” by Jocelyn Hagen – commissioned by the NDSU Challey School of Music.
