Starting next week, the Rugby Jaycees will be on the hunt for the best-decorated houses.
For three Sundays – Dec. 14, 21 and 28 – the Jaycees will drive around Rugby and pick three houses with the best Christmas lighting or theme. Winners from each week will be recognized in the Pierce County Tribune, and from the nine winners three will be chosen for a prize: credit on their electric bills.
“We’re always looking for new and exciting lights and themes,” said Jaycees president Chad Hager. “It’s not always quantity (though), it’s quality.”
The contest is open to anyone who wants to participate.
