Amyotte

Rugby native Shannon (Paul) Amyotte joined HAMC as the social services director in July. Amyotte, LSW (licensed social worker), graduated from Rugby High School in 1994 and received her degree in social work from Moorhead State University in 1999. Previously she was the director of community based services at the Ann Carlson Center in Jamestown.

“I have been in the developmental disabilities field for about the last 10 years, so I am looking forward to a new challenge of patient care and expanding on my social services degree,” Amyotte said. “I enjoy looking at processes and finding ways to create new and improve them.”

Amyotte relocated from Jamestown with her husband Cory; also a Rugby native and their two children ages 7 and 9.

“In moving back to Rugby, we wanted to slow our lives down and concentrate on family,” Amyotte said.
