North Envision damaged again

By Staff | May 9, 2014

Louis Felix Sasse, 21, of Towner, had a bond hearing in Northeast District Court in Rugby on Tuesday, three days after being arrested outside of the North Envision station in Rugby.

Sasse is charged with attempted burglary and unauthorized entry to a motor vehicle, both Class C felonies. He was also charged with two misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief.

Rugby Police reported to the station at 6:25 a.m. on May 3 to investigate an attempted break-in. The outer pane of a west-side window was broken.

While on the scene, an employee alerted officers of an unknown male, later identified as Sasse, exiting an Envision vehicle. Police detained an extremely intoxicated, shirtless male with blood on him, according to a police release.

Officers gathered blood from the broken window, the vehicle and a partially broken window at a neighbor’s residence. Blood was gathered at a second neighbor’s residence, which had no property damage.

Rugby Police Chief John Rose said it doesn’t appear that this incident is related to a Feb. 27 break-in at North Envision. The February incident is still under investigation and has not resulted in any arrests.
