Do these weeks go by quickly or what? On Tuesday evening I enjoyed a phone visit with my daughter, Orlayne Held of rural Grand Forks, to tell me about Easter plans. On Wednesday I enjoyed coffee, etc. at Eileen Erickson’s apartment along with Helen Hawk, Ida Vrem, Libby Wheeler and Stella Lunde. My daughter, Brigit Pigeon of Fargo, called. Thursday started out foggy. Friday it actually got to 38! Brigit called. On Saturday afternoon I enjoyed visiting Eileen Erickson and enjoyed cappuchino with her. My sister, Ellen Mae Slaubaugh, called. It snowed a bit. Then I enjoyed a phone visit with my friend, Cele Goergen of Cando, and Brigit called again. On Sunday morning I accompanied Howard Thompson to Wolford Lutheran Church for Easter service conducted by Pastor Holter, and Jon Nelson read scripture. It was nice to see Jon and Sid’s sons, Eric and Jacob, who were home for Easter. Then I went to Cando and visited my friends, Ed & Cele Goergen. Then I went to the Cando home of Eldon, Brad and Cindy Held for Easter along with my daughter, Orlayne, Mike, Andrew and Alec Held, their daughter, Samantha & Aaron Johnson of Grand Forks, as well as Brittany Held and her friend, Grant Lindahl.
