Handicapped-accesible lift installed at Memorial Hall

By Staff | Apr 16, 2013

A handicapped-accessible lift has been installed at the Memorial Hall, allowing people in wheelchairs to get to the basement and main floor of the building.

The lift, located on the southwest side of the building, has a weight capacity of 750 pounds.

It was installed by Richard Long and Randy Tank, who work for Great Plains Rehabilitation Services in Bismarck.

The entrance to the lift is on the west side of the building in the alley and can go to doors on the basement and main floor. The lift is able to go about 11 feet between the two floors.
